# Privacy policy

Welcome to SijiliCare. We are committed to protecting your privacy and securing your medical data. By using the mobile app, the browser version or this website, you agree to the terms of this policy.

## 1. The data we collect

We collect three categories of data, each for a stated purpose:

- Clinic data: name, address and coordinates, email and phone, staff count, patient count and procedure count (for statistical purposes).
- Personal data: name, email address, phone, address, and the health information entered through the forms.
- Non-personal data: browser type and version, IP address, operating system, pages visited and time spent, and device type.

## 2. Why we collect it

Data is used to verify the subscription plan, deliver and run the service, improve the platform, send appointment confirmations, manage clinic services, and meet legal and security obligations.

## 3. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal information. Sharing is limited to payment systems, cloud hosting providers, email tooling, and legal authorities on a lawful request. Any sharing of patient data requires your explicit consent.

## 4. Legal basis for processing

Processing rests on performance of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, and your explicit consent for any additional use of the data.

## 5. How we protect data

We apply layered security measures:

- Encryption in transit and at rest (TLS and AES-256)
- Role-based access control
- Multi-factor authentication
- Daily backups and a disaster-recovery plan
- Activity logging and periodic security reviews

## 6. WhatsApp messages

By entering patient numbers you consent to appointment reminders being sent to them over WhatsApp, and confirm that you have obtained their agreement to receive them.

## 7. Data retention

We keep data for as long as you use the service. After an account is closed you may export your data within 30 days before it is permanently deleted, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain it.

## 8. Your rights

You may access, correct and delete your data, restrict its processing, object to marketing, port your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to info@sijilicare.com.

## 9. Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the platform running. Analytics and advertising cookies require your consent and can be managed from your account settings.

## 10. External links

We are not responsible for the content of external websites or for their privacy practices.

## 11. Children's privacy

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

## 12. Changes to this policy

We will tell you about any update by email or by an in-app notice. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it.
